ALSO, friend of the show, recipient of multiple awards for Service to Mankind, Veteran, First Sergeant Will Williams joined us to talk about how we can be of service to your fellow men, women, and children.  Congratulations to Will for his latest award, Volunteer of the Year for the State of Texas!  Will let us know about two new projects that you can be part of.  Operation Food Drop brings food to the homeless at bridges and camps.  Volunteers meet at Heroes Night Out in Cedar Park, TX on the second Saturday of every month to make sandwiches.  Then jeeps come to pick up the food to distribute it.    The second new project is a once-a-month outdoors program for disabled veterans.  You can find out more about these programs and find out how to donate by going to www.HeroesNightOut.org.  You can also join Will in many other volunteer projects to help children at the School for the Blind and the School for the Deaf.  For a list of all of the volunteer activities and how to get involved, send an e-mail request to [email protected] or leave a voicemail at:  512-222-6766.
