Laura Gelezunas reported in from Puerto Vallarta to tell us how she, along with everyone else in Vallarta, fared with Hurricane Patricia!! It turns out that they were very lucky and Patricia did not hit them head-on, as expected. They really dodged a bullet, since this was the strongest hurricane to hit the Western Hemisphere on record!! But, it seems that Mexico was very prepared! Now, the people of Vallarta are donating all of their emergency supplies, such as bottled water, as well as cleaning supplies, to the places in Mexico that WERE hit.
