Dr. Kathleen Hudson, Founder of the Texas Heritage Music Foundation, returned to let us know what is going on with regard to MUSIC in Kerrville and Mexico! Kathleen let us know about some great music venues in the hill country of Texas, including the Hilltop Cafe in Fredericksburg and the Odeon Theater in Mason. She also talked about three of the Texas women musicians who she wrote about in her book, “Women of Texas Music.” Kathleen in now working on her third book. This one is about Mexican-American musicians of Texas. Speaking of Mexico, Kathleen is soon headed to San Miguel de Allende, Mexico, where she will be teaching a workshop on Creativity, Feb. 14-18.
