Missed the program?  It was EXCELLENT!  You can hear the podcast right here:

Joining us from Round Rock, TX, Veteran First Sergeant Will Williams, a friend of the program and the winner of multiple awards for his service in the community (in addition to his multiple medals during his military service), joined us to talk about the July 4th Parade and many of the ways YOU can get involved in helping the community.

First of all, if you’re in the Austin/Round Rock area, be sure to check out the parade tomorrow on Round Rock’s new Main St.  This is the fastest growing parade in Texas!  For all of the information about where to go and where to park, check out: Round Rock July 4th Parade!  You can stay after the parade to join some soldiers from Fort Bragg for a barbecue lunch.  Make a donation to bring Christmas to 400 military families at Fort Hood!

Will also filled us in the the Freedom Honor Flight, which was previously for WWII veterans and is now for Vietnam Veterans.  Find out where to go to cheer on the veterans as they took off on the flight or find out about the first ever flight for female veterans based in Austin, TX this coming November, by going to FreedomHonorFlight.org.

For all of the various organizations and events to help veterans, children, and the community that you can work with Will on, go to ShareTheWill.org.  Will is both founder and president of that amazing organization.
