Lucinda Wierenga, aka Sandy Feet, World Champion Sand Sculpture artist, joined us from South Padre Island to fill us in on what has been happening in the world of sand. Lucinda gives sand castle lessons to groups, individuals, families, corporate team builders….and check out her special classes, “Castles and Cocktails” and “Grandma and Me” (for grandmothers and grandchildren). Visit South Padre Island during the first week of October for the Sandcastle Days championship and check out the beautiful sculptures on the Sand Castle Trail year-round on SPI. Lucinda will also be competing in FL in, both, the solo and doubles contests of the American Sand Castle Championship.
