We were joined by Clelia A. Scaccia, LMSW. Clelia is a social worker, driven by improving opportunities and conditions of youth involved in, or at risk for involvement in, the juvenile justice system. Her experience spans delinquency diversion and prevention, the juvenile justice system, and education and youth services.
And Clelia now works a coordinator for Gender Responsive Services and Family Engagement at St. Louis County Juvenile Office. Clelia discussed what being Gender Responsiveness in the Juvenile Justice System. Also discussed was preventing at-risk youth from entering the justice system and how YOU can help.
