Our scheduled guest, Chris Boucher, VP of Product Development at CannaVest, founder of the Hemp Industries Association (H.I.A), co-writer of the first California and Colorado Industrial Hemp Legislation Act of 1995. and the first person in more than 50 years to grow Industrial Hemp in the USA while at the USDA Research Station in California was unable to make it to call in to the show due to an unexpected event. In spite of Chris’ absence, we went on with the discussion of the various benefits of hemp products, including therapeutic, nutritional, and medical benefits.
I talked in-depth about what being mindful might entail and how it may help with dealing with the multiple complex emotions, especially stress and sadness, of being a caregiver and I spoke about the issues specific to adult-children who live far from their elderly parents. This is a topic of discussion that increases with frequency as the population ages. It certainly has become the number one topic, these days, among my own peers and within my own life!
