You can hear the podcast of tonight’s show right here!  It was awesome!

We were joined from Toronto by Christiana Egi, RN, geriatric and mental health specialist, author, and owner/operator of Alexis Lodges, providing person-center care for individuals with Alzheimer’s disease and other types of dementia.  Christiana talked about Dementia and her children’s books, including her book, A Rose for Grandma, explaining to children why their grandparent might be acting differently, and she let us know how we can be most helpful to improve the quality of life for loved ones with dementia.

Canada’s National Ballet School came into Alexis Lodge to create a documentary about the power of dance for people with dementia.  You can see this lovely short film right here:  Dancer Not Dementia: A Short Film.
