World Champion Sand Sculpture Artist, Lucinda Wierenga, joined us along with her friend, Ken, from South Padre Island, TX, to talk about the world’s largest sand structure, which they were both part of creating!  This sand structure is in Kuwait.  70 artists took part in building this structure, which depicts the stories of “The Arabian Nights.”  Lucinda was there for 6 weeks to help build this structure, which is now the back drop for the Remal International Festival in Remal, Kuwait.  You can check out the beautiful pictures of this structure and read more about this structure and this festival here:  http://248am.com/events/remal-sand-sculpting-festival/.
