With the SXSW Musical Festival recently in town, we had a musical show!
We played the original music of our friend and violinist, Johnny Arco, who is in town from NY for the musical festival.
Then jazz flutist, Jan Leder, founder of “Music Wellness” joined us, once again from New York. She spoke about the Music Wellness program and we played some of her music! Have an interest in working in the Music Wellness world? Jan can give you a private consolation about Making a Living In Music Wellness. Contact Jan at JanLeder@aol.com for more information. And to purchase some of Jan’s music, go to: JanLeder.info. Watch videos of her performances and listen to some of her music on YouTube.
And Dr. Mara spoke about the Benefits of Kindness for each of us personally and for the growth and development of our society.
This show was dedicated to the very talented Austin musician, Izzy Cox, who appeared on this program two years ago. Izzy passed away yesterday. She will be greatly missed. We played one of her songs on the way off the air.
